If you are in one of the following situations, don't hesitate to ask for help:

"I'm not sure if this is the right program for me."

Are you clear about your career plans? Do you have a career goal? Are you keeping your options open? The Careers Service offers workshops throughout the year, and a range of services that help you get ready for a successful career. Visit them on Level 6, Hughes Building.

"I need to know more about the other programs that Adelaide offers before I decide."

Visit the Student Centre or check out the Program Finder website to get further information; talk to your Faculty or to the Faculty that teaches the other program(s) you're interested in.

"I don't think I want to transfer, but there are some study issues I need to sort out."

Throughout the year, you can visit your Faculty or School office and make an appointment to see a Course or Program Coordinator to talk about any concerns with your studies. If you are concerned about your progress, your timetable, or understanding the work – seek help early, before a concern turns into a problem!

"My academic program is the right one, but I'm just not coping."

The Counselling Centre provides free, confidential help to students and is located on the ground floor of the Horace Lamb Building. Visit the Counselling Centre website to see a list of the services they offer.

"How do I transfer to a different program?"

If you are currently enrolled in a Commonwealth-supported place and wish to change your program, or study another degree concurrently, you may apply for a mid-year internal transfer. Internal transfers are only permitted for current students wishing to transfer into another Commonwealth-supported place. For a list of programs available at mid-year, and to download an application form, please visit the Admissions website.
