Accrediting bodies for the Faculty

School of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design

• The Master of Architecture (Coursework) program is recognised by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) and are accredited by the Architects Board of South Australia.

• The Master of Landscape Architecture program is recognised and accredited by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) for corporate membership of AILA.

Business School

• The Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) is accredited by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).
• Graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) are entitled to affiliate membership of The Financial Services Institute of Australia.
• Completion of appropriate courses within the Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) can lead to membership of professional associations such as the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).
• Graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce (Management) are eligible for membership of associations such as the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).
• The Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) program enables students to gain credit towards Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) status awarded by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). Graduates are also eligible for the Certificate of Market Research from the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) if the courses specified on their website have been completed.
• Some of the courses offered in the Bachelor of Finance degree are geared towards providing affiliate membership to the Securities Institute of Australia, as well as covering material for the Chartered Financial Analysts program run by the CFA Institute.
• Graduates of the Master of Accounting and Finance who choose the accounting specialisation as their primary discipline meet the academic requirements for admission to the CPA program of CPA Australia (with completion of appropriate courses). The program also covers a substantial part of the body of knowledge for those wanting to proceed with professional studies offered by the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute as well as being on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission registry (ASIC) as ps146 compliant for several specialised fields of finance.
• By including the prescribed courses, graduates of the Master of Commerce (Accounting) meet the academic requirements for admission to the CPA program of CPA Australia and the CA program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Graduates who are eligible for CPA Australia Associate membership on the basis of their undergraduate degree and who complete this Masters course may be eligible for exemptions from 2 modules in the CPA program.
• The Master of Commerce (Applied Finance) covers a substantial part of the body of knowledge for those wanting to proceed with professional studies offered by the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute as well as being on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission registry (ASIC) as ps146 compliant for several specialised fields of finance.
• Graduates of the Master of Commerce (Marketing) may gain partial credit towards the Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) awarded by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). Graduates are also eligible for the Certificate of Market Research from the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) if the courses specified on their website have been completed.
• The Master of Commerce (Performance Management) program graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI). This program also meets the AIM (SA) qualification of Certified Professional Manager (CPMgr).
• The Master of Finance and Business Economics covers a substantial part of the body of knowledge for those wanting to proceed with professional studies offered by the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute as well as being on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission registry (ASIC) as ps146 compliant for several specialised fields of finance.

School of Education

• The Teachers' Registration Board of SA accredits the Bachelor of Teaching program and the Graduate Diploma in Education.

Law School

• The Bachelor of Laws degree is accredited by The Legal Practioners Education and Admission Council (LPEAC) (pdf 14kB).
