2009

Program Outline | Admission Information

Location: North Terrace Campus
Duration: 1 year (part-time? equivalent only)
Degree/Award: Diploma

Program Outline

This program consists of studies in an instrumental specialisation taken on a part-time basis over two years and is available to suitably advanced students enrolled concurrently in another undergraduate degree program at the University of Adelaide. Students may need to extend their studies over an extra year to accommodate the requirements of the performance sequence.

Whilst it is intended to be available in both classical and jazz instrumental areas it is probable that in 2009 only a Classical specialisation will be provided. The two year sequence consists of: Instrumental Performance I (9 units) and a specialist large ensemble or music elective (3 units) and Instrumental Performance II (9 units) together with a specialist large ensemble or music elective (3 units).
