Program Outline

The Graduate Certificate of Design in Digital Media offers post-professionals including visual artists, architects, engineers, and advertising/graphic and industrial designers the opportunity to develop a unique personal approach to art and design by integrating the use of digital media with their prior knowledge and skills. This certificate encompasses one semester of the full Master of Design in Digital Media program.

  • Higher Education applicants
    You must have a completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent and submit a CD to the School showing your graphic/design work.
Additional entry requirements: ? All applicants must submit a CD showing their graphic/design work to the School of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design as soon as possible after applying.

Courses

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate, a candidate shall satisfactorily complete a combination of courses to the value of 12 units, as follows:

Unless the candidate is able to present evidence that, in the opinion of the Faculty of the Professions, they have done similar courses as above. In such case, the candidate shall satisfactorily complete courses to the value of 12 units, as follows:

  • ARCHDM 7007: Rules and Contingency in Design with Digital Media
  • DESSTDM 7006: Interactivity in Design with Digital Media
