As well as the campus, heritage-listed and specialist-use properties, Property Services manages a number of commercial properties on behalf of the University, around 80% of which are entirely owned by the University, with the remaining 20% being leased.
Total floor space is in the order of 10,000sqm.
Tenants are a mix of University associations, businesses, faculties and support services, as well as third party commercial interests.
While Property Services outsources the day-to-day management of this portfolio, it remains responsible for balancing the commercial yields of the properties with the teaching, research and facilities space needs of the University as outlined in the University's Strategic Management Plan.
