Thebarton Campus
The heritage-listed Distillery Building, built in the mid-1800s, is the central administration office for the campus. Einstein's Café is located in the Old Railway Building, which was formerly located at Terowie where General McArthur made his most famous statement during World War II. The nature of the campus presents Property Services with some unique challenges in its maintenance and development. Thebarton campus has been developed as a Research Park and is among the larger research/technology parks in Australia with more than 70 tenant groups. With a synergistic approach to programs, it is a vital link between the University of Adelaide and Australian business and industry. |
