Nestled in the cultural heart of the city, the North Terrace Campus is the primary location of undergraduate teaching and the historic core of the University. As the earliest home of the University, North Terrace offers a wealth of heritage-listed buildings. Heritage tours not only give the visitor a detailed insight into the unique history of the University, but offer access to the everyday life of a thriving campus.

Waite Campus

Nestled in the foothills, Waite Campus is a world-leader in research and education for plant biosciences, viticulture, oenology and land & water management. The Waite has the largest collection of expertise in plant genomics, plant breeding, crop improvement, viticulture and oenology within the southern hemisphere. A highlight of the campus is Urrbrae House, built in 1891, which includes the first scientific laboratory of the Waite institute; and the internationally renowned Waite Arboretum.

Roseworthy Campus

Australia's first agricultural college was established at Roseworthy, 50km north of Adelaide, in 1883, and joined forces with the University of Adelaide in 1991. Roseworthy is an internationally renowned centre for excellence in dryland agriculture and animal production. Located on a 1600 hectare property, the campus includes a working farm on which students gain practical experience and training.

One of the premier University-owned technology/research parks in Australia, Thebarton Campus is situated less than 4km from the Adelaide CBD. The park provides tenancy arrangements for commercial enterprises and is involved in three areas of Innovation and Commercialisation; Engaging in Community Initiatives; Enterprising Education; and Industry Linkages. The park is also a national leader in enterprise incubation, giving graduates the chance to commence a business.

National Wine Centre

Situated on the corner of Adelaide's stunning Botanic Gardens, the National Wine Centre houses an award winning, state of the art Wine Discovery Journey comprising five interactive rooms. Here guests can enjoy winemaking from the ground up, enjoy a meal from the à la carte menu while tasting premium Australian wines, or take a walk through the 2.6 hectare vineyard. The Centre is an educational hub for tourists, the general public and a working teaching centre for the University of Adelaide's wine-related academic programs. Entry to the Centre is free.
